Cardano Explained Without Jargon & Within 199 words
Yeah sure, Cardano is a technological marvel, smart contracts, native tokens, Hard Fork Combinator, super fast through Hydra, biggest decentralized blockchain network and much more; but so what? What will all that bring the world? How will it impact our future? Well, as Charles Hoskinson explained beautifully (see video below), everybody would know for sure that Cardano has changed the world when it would be possible to start an app, get in direct contact with somebody somewhere on this planet, be able to give them a loan while being sure about that person's reputation; get repaid and make some returns on your investments. Instantly, in that person's local currency and without a middle man.
That would thoroughly change the world and bring enormous prosperity to the developed countries, while not hinging on charity but a mutually beneficial business case, where both parties are reaping profits!
